ROUNDTRIP RIDE NEEDED (La/Bay Area)./ RIDE OFFER BACK UP

Hey fellow Burners:

It’s been a bit of a taxing year for me and I’m ready to reground with the playa and the collective Burner energy.

So I’m gathering the pieces for my yearly pilgrimage to our playa home. I’m on shoe string budget though, so heavy gas guzzlers/ RVs with high gas share are NOT doable ( UNLESS you’re open to a trade). Average vehicle gas expenses should be fine. Leaving from LA, but possible for Bay Area.

FOR THOSE OKAY WITH TRADE ALTERNATIVE:
If you’re funds are NOT stressed and you’re open non-monetary exchange, or at least partial, here is some trade potentials and can include multiple:

– Gemstone/ Crystal Wire wrap pendants, earrings, and-or keychains (Customizion okay, examples of previous work available.)
– A large assortment of good quality sealed adult beverages.
– Integrated healing modalities (Professionally trained/ certified: Acupressure, Reiki and chakra balancing, reflexology, guided meditation and journey work.)
– Aroma Therapy sprays for playa.
– Some Structural Admin work if you have an enterprise in the default world.
– Art if you’re an art collector that sees the value in what I create.
– Lighting and decor design for your space (request sample pics),
– Many other offerings.

“RIDE OFFER BACKUP” : I put this on the title because if there is no ride alignment, I might not have a choice but take my car out to playa for a six burn in a row. I really don’t want to, as it’s still got playa in it from last year and it will mean added immediate expenses: Oil change, timing belt, air filters, etc… I figured after giving Burners rides 5 burns in a row, I’m ready to receive.
But if nothing pans out and someone has a CAR PASS to gift, I’m open to that potential. I’ve a 2016 Kia Soul with roof rack for bikes, chairs, and tents. Inside can be packed pretty tight.

ABOUT MYSELF as a BURNER:
This is my 18th Burn, so I’ve a lot of playa stories and playa tips to share (if desired). I’m more of a playa nomad and have participated in many camps and villages over the years with different focuses, 6 with Center Camp, then a mix of others.
My intent is to eventually start my own camp/ village (All campmates are gifted tickets and no camp dues.) The intent of the camp is two fold: 1. Act as a bridge for BRC Citizens to find Economic and Social Sustainability within in default world by helping fund/ support coop development of Burner Communities. 2. Act as an uplifting service that gifts participation assistance and inventory to as many camps as possible. For example, offering lighting to dimly lit camps, perhaps certain amenities needed, pretty much anything that can help uplift them. (Think resource distribution center that funnels in success from the default world.)

PERSONALITY WISE: My detailed writing comes across as someone who won’t stop talking, but I’m generally an introvert being extroverted. I do my best to be nice and respectful of others, but also to speak truth when needed.
While I identify with labels such as writer, musician, artist, and healer, the title I best identify as is “visionary”. Unfortunately, self-identifying as that gives a feel of egocentricity, so I often use more acceptable labels.
I have many visions of what the global Burning Man culture can achieve through a unified vision.
I’ve spent most my life pushing against collective-pessimism that shuns the concepts of a Modern Neo-Renaissance. I do my best to keep pushing through the thick pessimism that denies the potential for a better world… I’m called to the question, “What is Burning Man if not the cultivation of creativity and community for a Modern Renaissance time period? Isn’t that what we’re trying to build?”
