Camp Slutty Mic — seeking acoustic, guitar, piano & vocal musicians for our 24/7 open mic (SF Bay)

Description

We’re Camp Slutty Mic — a ~30-person placed camp built around a 24/7 open mic / live music jam stage (usually 50–100 guest performers a week). Morning coffee with a band at your doorstep is normal here. We also do nightly dinners, spontaneous midnight breakcore raves, and sunrise fire-barrel therapy sessions.

Our newest interactivity addition is a zip line that leads into a ball pit.

Crew is mostly SF Bay Area artists, musicians, dancers, scientists, and builders, roughly ages 25–40. We’re outgoing and physically active — adventures, partner dance, climbing, deep playa, engineering challenges. Core crew is largely alcohol-free; if alcohol is your main way to have fun, we’re chill about it but this probably isn’t the right camp for you.

On playa: Aug 28 – Sept 6, 2026 · 8:30 & Ararat

What camp shares: shaded sleeping area + mattresses, kitchen, water, two meals/day, chill space, bike transport from SF, power, shower, fire barrel, ticket allocations, and the open mic at your doorstep.

Who we’re looking for: acoustic, guitar, piano, and vocal performers who want to camp with us and help keep the stage alive — sit in on jams, back guest performers, fill quiet hours. Not electronic music or DJs.

We’re offering partial camp fee discounts for musicians who can commit to keeping the stage going through the week. Details via apply / Spark inquire.
