Nobo House is an international community going into it’s 7th year. We’re veteran and first-time burners who come to Black Rock City for personal growth, exploration, and genuine human connection.

After years of navigating the playa’s most challenging conditions, we evolved into the camp we wish we always had out there: a place of refuge, recharge, and radical care. We call ourselves a recharge camp, a home base where you can push your edges on playa and come back to a community that actually restores you.

As of 2026, we are also an alcohol free camp meaning we do not serve alcohol externally to the public or internally within camp.

What We Gift to the Playa

Who We Are

Our camp is one of the most genuinely diverse communities on playa. 12+ countries represented. A near-even gender split (51/49 men to women). A 60/40 veteran-to-first-timer ratio. Campers ranging from 13 to 75 years old. We don’t just say diversity, it’s reflected in the camps leadership and community.

Community Beyond the Burn

The thing we’re most proud of isn’t infrastructure, it’s the community. Nobo House has active local meetups, before and after the burn and an alumni WhatsApp going back 4+ years, and real friendships that extend far beyond the dust.
