The ReinKarma Art Car Team Needs a New Captain

Our DREAMY MUTANT VEHICLE, “ReinKarma”, has been on the playa since 2011 with the same loyal CAPTAIN. Our beloved friend, “Feral Willy” has now passed beyond the veil. RIP.

Our 6-person team is looking for a new CAPTAIN ! We hope there is someone in the Reno area willing and able to take Willy’s place. We need the kind of person who loves to work on cars, knows how to hook up a stereo system, and can service a generator.

ReinKarma and our art car team stays at “Playa Jazz Cafe” with about 32 campers, a fire pit, open bar, and live jazz performances every night.

ReinKarma is parked in Reno. Provisioning and preparing to travel takes at least two days, then our team arrives early at Burning Man to re-assemble the car. This year, we will drive to Burning Man on Mon., Aug. 24th and depart on Tues., Sept. 8th. 18 days…it’s a real chunk of time BUT, with our beautiful art car, we have a truly MAGICAL EXPERIENCE !
