[Legends of the Hidden Playa] – Come help run our maze and hang

Hey all!

We’re Legends of the Hidden Playa, a silly ‘escape room’ style maze camp where we run folks through our two story obstacle course with each room themed after common tropes/stereotypes about the burn and its participants.

We’re on the lookout for more folks to camp with and help run the maze and wanted to get our name out.

Bit about us: We’ve been a placed camp since 2017 in the 4:30 sector. We’re approximately 20 people, all hovering around the 30s-40s age range. We’re a mix of tents, yurts, and monkey huts with a shared common area and kitchen with lots of shade, couches, carpet, basic power). We are not designed for RVs, but that’s not a hard rule. Most of us are in the west coast, Pacific North West, Salt Lake, and Austin, TX (where the main TCOs are).

Camp has a container shipped out from Reno every year for the maze and shared infrastructure but everyone brings their own food/gear.

Few perks of camp: we have an enclosed shower, water delivered, shade for tents, large shaded/decorated common area, power for phones, lights, chargers, etc (but we’re not powering your AC or fridge).

Build/strike is a shared effort for everyone in camp, we ask everyone in camp to run 2x 2 hour shifts across the week which gives us solid coverage for events and our interactivity (which is quite a lot of fun to do). We also ask everyone to pitch in for shared costs which is $300.
