Forgot vehicle pass – looking to offer ride to someone that has one

Hi all!

Beyond all belief, I managed to get a ticket this year for burning man, so I am ecstatic. However, my friend when buying the ticket on my behalf, in their excitement forgot to get a vehicle pass.

This is the first year I obtained my drivers license, and driving myself to burning man has been on my list for a very long time. I’m hoping I can find a way to still make it work.

I will be buying or renting a car before the event, and would be available to take people anywhere from near Seattle and in between Reno. Not against driving a little out of the way also if we can make something work.

I am trans, and not really out yet, and so this event will be my first time being somewhat out in public, for that reason I would prefer to take/camp with fem aligned individuals, but open to other arrangements. Not looking for too much gas or driving sharing depending on where pickup/dropof would be.

Also wondering if there is any more advice for how I could get or use a vehicle pass? Is joining a camp an option? At the moment I will try to get a new ticket with vehicle pass at the OMG sale and if succusfull sell my current one through STEP. I don’t think STEP allows trades (for a ticket without a VP for one with a VP if someone needed) but will look at that as well.

I’m super excited and looking forward to making a ton of new friends and maybe getting some camping/driving buddies, see you all at BRC!
