$ for Driving an RV from BRC to the Bay Area

Description

The mission: we need a driver to share the drive of an RV back to Sebastopol or El Cerrito, post Temple Burn. We are looking for someone with RV experience up for the decompression adventure.

The RV: it is 33 ft Fleetwood Coronado — a Class A RV (see photo)

The trade: if you are able to handle the whole drive we would be happy to pay for the privilege and/or give you a bed on Saturday night. We’ll cover the cost of your ticket to next year’s Burn or give the cash equivalent.

Why: Our group (and driver) are leaving Saturday, but my friend and I want to stay for the Temple Burn. She’s flying in from London and doesn’t drive; I drive but have zero RV experience, so doing the whole thing solo makes me nervous.

What’s in it for you:
– Staying till the end too. There’s a bed free in the RV from Saturday, plus space to bring your stuff back to the Bay.
– Sharing the journey of the decompression drive itself with a meal stop and good company.
– You’d be helping us fulfil a 20-year dream. Six Burns in, I’ve always left before Sunday this year I’ve booked Monday off to finally see it, and it doubles as my send off before moving home to London.
