2025 Honoraria Art Installation Project Ohnivý Vták the Firebird Seeks Build Volunteers

Hi all! Skyhunter CREATIVE is excited to bring Ohnivý Vták the Firebird, 2025 art grant honoraria program recipient, to Burning Man 2025. This 15′ W x 17′ D x 15′ H eco-focused art installation aims to activate feelings of transformation, to encourage inner curiosity and physical play, and to provide a space for contemplation and connection. The wings articulate through human physical interaction, and it sits in a nest of flames that is actually seating. We’re working on being fully solar-powered.

We have a few more roles open to make a solid crew to help us with construction planning and structural integrity, especially for the wing interactivity.

We will be hosting build days June – August, and so asking for local volunteers to help with build.

Last, we’ve been approved for open fire burn so we’ll be burning the structure during Burning Man 2025! We are looking for our Burn Lead, Fire Safety Liaison, and Perimeter Leads (2), and of course, someone dedicated all around for LNT!!
