Seeking cross stitchers/embroiderers for Center Plaza Project

Description

Hi friends! I’m running a Burning Man themed cross stitch and embroidery project at Center Plaza this year. Seeking the following:

1. Your Burning Man-themed cross stitch or embroidery piece to display at Center Plaza, aka Center Camp. You can even ship it to me in advance = zero work on playa for you.

2. People interested in running (or joining) a stitch and bitch session in Center Plaza at a huge awesome table, in the shade, in the afternoon when it’s too hot to do much else anyway. Involves instructing any comers in the basics of cross stitch using pre-designed beginner friendly templates.

3. People who have spare floss, aida cloth, or alternate cross stitch or embroidery materials who are interested in donating them for the beginners. Either bring to playa yourself or ship to me in advance.

4. People who want to meet in person in San Francisco or virtually before the burn to stitch and plan together. I’ve got some but could use more.
