Ride to BM from Oakland, Wednesday (8/27) PM

Hi there! I am considering driving to Black Rock City from the Bay Area (Oakland), and putting this out as a feeler to weigh the option. Please reach out if the information below works for you, and I’ll be happy to chat!

Departure and Return:
Due to my work schedule, I plan to leave on Wednesday (8/27). I won’t be able to start driving until ~2:30pm. Can be somewhat flexible thereafter, though, we’ll ideally be on the road before 4pm. I plan to leave BRC on Sunday (8/31) in the mid-morning, do let me know if you need a ride back.

Seats and Space:
To keep things comfortable, but mostly considering packing space, I am offering two seats in my car. I drive a Subaru Impreza, so unfortunately not a ton of space for packing things in. I do not have roof space, but could potentially get two bikes up if I were to borrow a friend’s trunk rack. I plan to send up most of my things in a friend’s U-Haul, so I my items in the car will be very light, a small backpack and maybe a few grocery bags.

Shared Costs:
I would ask that passengers pitch in to help cover the cost of gas and a parking pass.
