Looking for experienced artists / leaders / recycled material workers.

Hi all! I have this crazy idea of art I would like to apply to the Honoraria Grant but need collaborators.

I want four waves out in playa, North, East, South, West made out of recycled plastic (bottles for example, but I see little art made of straight plastic, mostly metal and wood) or any material easy to shape into a 4 to 5 meter wall like structure shaped in famous waves (I can design / draw them) around the world in those locations: Peahi (Hawaii), Nazaré (Portugal), Skeleton Bay (Namibia) and the Right (Australia). I want to place a surfboard and people can stand and take pictures there. Probably some metal is involved to tie bottle and bottle. Ideally rain proof and wind proof. Light could be nice but actually not necessary.

I also want to add poetry / quotes / stories from each culture to each wave. There could be some interactive writing / reading part added for people to post / draw.

Surfing and Burning Man are the most transformative and powerful experiences I have in my human brain heart body and I would love to fuse them in 2024, also have people stand on my boards (if I can bring them out there that would be amazing, I don’t mind them being full of dust or breaking, they are old, I would bring them from Costa Rica…) and take pics and feel the sensation of ‘balance’.
