Hi, I'm Danbert.
2026 will (hopefully) be my first trip to Black Rock City after years of hearing, "You have to experience it for yourself."
I'm a lifelong maker, problem solver, and curious learner who enjoys figuring out how things work, fixing what breaks, and quietly becoming useful. I don't need to be in charge, but I do enjoy becoming someone people know they can count on.
I'm looking for a camp that values community as much as infrastructure. A place where people work together, respect each other's differences, communicate honestly, and understand that sometimes someone needs support and sometimes they simply need space.
I'm excited about helping with build and strike, learning how Black Rock City comes together, exploring the incredible things other camps create, and meeting people whose stories are completely different from my own.
Outside the playa you'll usually find me building something, repairing something, experimenting with new ideas, operating amateur radio, camping, or disappearing into whatever project has captured my attention this month.
