Within the heart of the din & cacophony of BRC, you will stumble across an oasis of clarity, refreshment & introspection when you encounter Karma Love Camp.

About: We’re fun-loving, deep-thinking, with talents that actively engage the concept of karma in everything we do. We offer an alternative philosophy behind the scenes for those seeking depth and connections beyond the party.

2024 will be our 7th year with a target of 80 members. We’re one of the most diverse camps at Burning Man, typically with over 65% female, 25% male, 10% LGBTQ and nearly half of the membership international, often with at least 10 nations represented. We are an adult-only camp and our members represent age ranges from early 20’s to mid 70’s – all are welcome!

Our membership is deeply engaged in bringing art, interactivity and gifting to the event. We host a gathering space for presentation events, various forms of yoga, dance, food events, body painting, and transformational workshops. As an event-based camp, all members are expected to assist in putting on the event program.

Infrastructure: Camp is a registered non-profit social club that owns a truck and trailer where our infrastructure lives in storage most of the year. This contains our kitchen system, massive shade structure provided for tent campers, and streetscape. These assets dramatically improve the quality of life at the event for our members.

The camp offers camp dinners, with camp members as meal-team leads, and all members assist in preparing one meal (just one for the week) – this includes preparation, serving, and cleanup of one meal – but then you get to partake in all the other dinners.  Not included is your own food for breakfast, lunch, snacks, your own drinking water and other refreshments.  You do however have access to the camp kitchen to cook your meals. 

More: Every camp member can have a daily shower in our specially modified trailer made possible by contracts for water delivery and gray water pumpout, which also lends support the kitchen operation.

Note: We do have some tickets available for new members, and currently prefer applicants with no tickets.

We have some space for RV campers and tent campers.
