Hello Burners and Burgins!
Appropriated Dragon is currently full, HOWEVER…
Dusty Joe’s Bath Bucket (The Desert Day Spa) is looking for a few more great campers!
Inquire within and learn more about this sparkling oasis inside the Black Rock French Quarter!

Members are responsible for running the bath house (10-6PM) and entertaining guests while in line. Cost-Share Dues are $100 (plus $175 to the Village) and include YOUR shower plan.
Placement at 3:30 and Elektra this year

A little bit about us:
We’re best known as a communal potluck dining establishment for all the members of our (awesome) village, set in an beautiful hall, draped in lanterns and glowing with neon, overlooking the Esplanade. You earn your place as an honored guest by helping run the house, and sharing something delicious with the other honored guests.
We have a two story building housing camps like Black Rock Winery and Black Rock Bakery, as well as a two story Pagoda, of which we operate the upstairs. It makes for beautiful sunset viewing, a great piece of shade for the day, and a wonderful platform for Dim Sum!
While we have our roots in hosting dim sum and communal dining experiences for guests, we have a new idea to expand our cultural relations. We want to be the “Cultural Exchange” zone of French Quarter, giving an open (but scheduled) space to host and teach a variety of programs.
You’ll be able to design your own or join with others, even bring in outside friends to put on something special. Events could range from food to dance to mediation to partying to whatever you think people would like to share and experience!
We’re typically placed in the 4:30 sector and Esplanade.
We are not a plug and play camp, but we welcome folks of all skills and shape, so just come eager to learn and participate!!
Come join us and share in the glory of culture and dim sum!
A little bit about me:
I’m Buddha, Dragon Master of Appropriated Dragon Dim Sum, a camp within the village of Black Rock French Quarter…the oldest and most elaborate city (only?) within Black Rock itself. This will be my 6th year in BRFQ and my 2nd as co-founder of the Dragons (I did a few years with Broken Angel Bath House and my burgin year with the Black Rock Bakery). What a place!
Nuts & Bolts:
— Cost Co–Share is $275 (includes camp and Village dues by June 1)
— We will have a “optional, self-regulating meal plan” for about $20/per person for breakfast + dinner Monday through Saturday, which covers the cost of the kitchen, but each group of “chefs” brings the food for one meal and cooks it (it’s fun!).
— Village Showers usually happen
