New Desert Outpost seeks Campmates

New Desert Outpost is looking for campers! We’re a medium camp of 15-25 who are dedicated to inspiring exploration and adventure out on playa. We host a cozy space filled with eclectic trinkets, comfortable places to lounge, and offer good tea and conversation.

Our campers now are mostly in the Bay Area but we are open to all. Camp amenities include a comfortable back-of-house space for relaxing, fully equipped kitchen, dinner and breakfast Monday-Saturday, fully enclosed tent shade structure, drinking water, greywater disposal, shower, and basic (eg, phone charging) power. Camper participation includes 3 work shifts of about 2-3 hours each throughout the week, partaking in camp teardown, and paying camp dues of $375-$400. We also have regular small gatherings before the burn to help prepare, craft, and get to know each other. Check out our website below for more information and how to join!
