Misfit Island (Returning Camp) Seeking Campmates – 3:30

Misfit Island is back and recruiting a few solid burners for this year’s build.

We’re a TINY returning theme camp focused on participation, fun and helping hands. This year we’re stepping up our shade structure and creating a lounge-and-bleacher situation for playful commentary near the Orgy Dome exit. Think cheeky encouragement, celebratory applause, and absurd color-commentary energy. Consent-forward. Funny, not feral. We don’t want or need huge numbers, we just want quality and are looking to expand by just a few.

We’ll also be hosting DONK, our beloved pig-throwing game. It’s ridiculous. It’s competitive. It makes zero sense and that’s the point.

Who we’re looking for:

People who contribute, not spectate. We encourage you to volunteer elsewhere – we will be as well. We don’t have a ton of obligations at camp, so we would love to be camp to people who are providing support elsewhere.

NO CREEPS or assholes. There’s a difference between snark and being a creepo or an asshole. If you don’t know about it we don’t want ya.

NO DUES. Shade and communal space are provided. Everyone must bring what you need to survive. We are all willing to share, and we can organize some delegation of supplies and responsibilities but be prepared to take care of yourself.

Vibe: capable adults with playful instincts. Many of us are sober or low-drinking. Some of us are high-drinking and low functioning. We have all kinds but we all bring friendliness, and minimal drama and willingness to help each other. We care about consent, effort, and keeping camp drama low.
