Looking for a ride for a couple, from RENO to BRC, 24th (Build Week Thursday)

Hey there, fellow Burners!

My partner Saki and I are on the hunt for a ride to BRC from Reno on the morning of the 24th (Build Week Thursday).

– (Of course) Happy to pitch in for shared costs: car rental, gas, and all that jazz.
– We’re light travelers! Most of our gear is already with our camp’s van (though it’s short on passenger seats). No suite case, no bike, no water.
– The earlier we hit the road, the better. No pit stops needed for shopping for us on our end.
– We’re both holders of WAP (early arrival tickets).
– And guess what? Camp swag comes included when you ride with us!

A little about us: This will be our 5th trek to the big burn – but hey, it’s our 15th if you’re counting regional burns!
New York has been home for the past 7 years, but our roots trace back to Japan. We’ve been burning brightly every day, even before our US adventure began and away from the Playa. Yours truly served on the organizing committee for “Burning Japan,” and Saki? Well, she’s a phenomenal effigy artist.
Over in the Big Apple, we made an effigy for NYC’s official DECOM event just last year. Plus, I’ve been volunteering with the Regional Network project. We’d love to share stories about Burning Man, regional events, and networks en route. But if you’re more the silent type, we can respect the hush. Oh, and did I mention we’re wizards in the kitchen? Be prepared to learn some secret Japanese recipes!
