Help a Harm Reduction Nonprofit get to BRC

I hope this post finds you well. My name is McKenzie (playa name: Wonder Bitch the Curious, music moniker: ResonantDJ) and I am reaching out to you today with a humble request. I am in need of transportation from Portland, Oregon to Black Rock City and was wondering if you might be able to assist me in any way.

Let me give you a little background on myself and the work I do. I am the founder of a non-profit organization called Nook Safe Space, where our main focus is on harm reduction and consent education. Our mission is to create safe spaces and provide resources to help individuals navigate challenging situations, particularly at events like Burning Man.

Last year, we successfully operated in four different states, making a positive impact on countless lives. This year, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to bring our mission to Black Rock City and continue the important work we do.

However, transportation has become a major obstacle for us. As a non-profit organization, we operate on a limited budget, renting vehicles can be quite costly for us. That’s why I am reaching out to you today, in the hopes that you might be able to lend a helping hand.

I understand that this is a big ask, and any assistance you could provide, whether it be a ride or any information on potential transportation options, would be greatly appreciated. We are open to any suggestions or arrangements that could help us reach our destination safely and efficiently.

In return for your kindness, I would be more than happy to offer any support or assistance that I can. If there are any events or projects that you are involved in, I would be more than willing to lend a hand or spread the word about them.
