Blintz Co is looking to recruit some new burners

Hello,

Blintz Co is about to enter a recruitment phase and is looking at getting new folks involved with our camp.

We’re primarily looking for folks in or around the Sacramento area that are experienced burners, are into making food, and are looking to build a stronger community.

What is Blintz Co: We’re a food-centered theme camp that makes blintzes. if you are passionate about making and gifting food, engineering and building structures, troubleshooting jank that doesn’t work, and like creating and cultivating community shenanigans that are tough but fun-filled, let me know and we can start chatting about more details.

Our camp has historically made blintzes every morning for several hours, with a variety of flavors and has provided other interactivity alongside.

In addition to blintz-making/interactivity shifts, we do camp dinners, and try to also do fairly-group oriented activities with all of our campmates over the course of the week to create decent campmate cohesion. We’re a ~25-29 person camp.

We have a variety of shade structures/communally shared infrastructure, and usually try to create a strong sense of community on/off playa. Pandemic has really made things change a lot, and last year on playa experience was hard for a variety of reasons for all of us. We’re mainly trying to focus on better building our community/network around Sacramento, as we’ve lost a lot of core campers that have moved out of the area during pandemic or have had children and won’t be coming back for a few years.
