Artist Needs Solar Power

Hey kids. I’m looking for someone with a solar panel setup who wants to partner with my art installation this year. I’ve got two different configurations in mind, one with amplified speakers requiring about 500 watts, and one using only headphones needing about 100watts. Any power buddies out there wanna jump in and provide the solar gear?

We’re Astrofengia, a 12′ wide x 7′ tall contemplation on light. Mirrored surfaces and light-refracting sculpture.

I’m creating a soundscore from NASA archives and all sorts of other goodies. So… how to power it?

This piece is being repurposed from a project for the Getty Museums’s 25th Anniversary celebration. The white cylinder is a placeholder for a light-refracting sculptural piece still in the works.
