I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Dani, a 35-year-old female fashion illustrator designer who’s originally from the colorful country of Venezuela.

Recently, I packed up my dreams and moved to the lively city of Houston, from San Diego, where I’ve been embracing new adventures for the past few months.

Now, here’s the twist, I thrive on art, painting, photography and giving furniture a new lease on life, my current gig has me climbing on roofs, inspecting them and selling new roofs to homeowners.

Let’s talk dreams. Ever since I was 18, Burning Man has been on my bucket list. The vibrant outfits, mind-blowing art installations, and electric atmosphere. Maybe, just maybe, this is the year I get to experience the magic firsthand. I have one of my best friends playing music at the festival and another really good friend teaching and cooking an Ayurvedic class.

Now, here’s a fun fact about me: I’m a self-proclaimed cleaning OCD lady. I find joy in organizing and ensuring everything is clean and in its rightful place. If you ever need help color-coding your closet or alphabetizing your bookshelf, count on me to bring order to the chaos.

Finally, I pride myself on being a Jack of all trades and a team player through and through. Whether it’s lending a creative hand, brainstorming ideas, or offering a listening ear, I’m always here to support and collaborate. Life’s better when we lift each other up!

I’m a self made badass B that came to this country with nothing and is rising above and helping other women find their own voice and lift up their spirits.
