2 Queers iso Rideshare from Reno (Build Week)

Greetings! Young Sun and Shane here.

ISO a ride mid-day/afternoon of Thursday, August 22nd from Reno. Flexible on timing.

We have confirmed Tickets thru the Ticket Aid program at Will Call and early Work Access Passes. Arriving into Reno Wednesday night and Thursday morning we plan to do a quick Walmart run and will be ready to depart.

We are both happy to contribute funds for any gas / expenses AND can also help with the drive. We are used to long-distance driving. Happy to chat or keep things chill and listen to music together––whatever your vibe is.

Please reach out if you have space for the 2 of us and our standard luggage. Our bikes and other bins will be awaiting us on Playa. We are taking the Burner Bus out––so this is just a one-way rideshare.

We’re with one of the R.I.D.E. camps called “The Refuge” – bringing culture, chill, and chai to the Playa. Find us at 2:30 & D during the Burn. We are also both volunteering with shifts at Zendo this year!

Young Sun is a 4th-time Burner (formerly Disorient & Kostume Kult), visual artist, and professor. They’re based in Brooklyn, NY. They love a furious dance, mountain climbing, making costumes, and building stuff! Young Sun is also part of the radical faeries.

Shane is a 1st-time Black Rock City inhabitant, but has been to LoveBurn and other regionals. He’s a social worker / therapist based in the NJ/NY/Boston areas, and also loves to dance, connect with folks, and feel all the feelings. Shane is a crafter, people connector, and is super excited about his first big Burn!
