What more radical ritual than a fire art performance in front of the Temple designed to do “something more than art”?
“Fire inside” is part art form, part ritual performance, where wooden sculptures carved from massive tree trunks burn from the inside-out for hours, all to produce lasting playa artifacts that grace default communities. The process of Fire Inside is very photogenic and a burning art installation is high adventure; a photographer’s dream actually, especially this year. We’ll be burning in front of the great Temple, at 11:15 and the burn barrier, just after The Man burns. We’ll need you to travel and stay with us in order to document the adventure, from loading the massive wooden wonders in Carson City to the day we return!
We seek a qualified photographer(s), still and/or video and film editing skills are a big plus. We have your ticket(s) and early pass(es), let’s talk.
